The Craziest Dream of My Life
I wish I could skip next week; you think as you get into bed that night. In the morning, you wake up 100 years in the future. My biggest fear is to be very old and die, it is the most freighting thing because most old people die by the age 80 and are not good looking. Well most old people I know. I woke up the next morning, feeling my skin wrinkled like my grandma. It was the worst feeling ever. I got out of bed and looked at myself in the mirror. I was old and ugly. The feeling of being old felt like I couldn’t walk or even play basketball every morning how I use too when I was 16 years old. I was disappointed in every possible way. Since I couldn’t play my favorite sport, I went back inside to eat breakfast. Unfortunately, there was no food not even a bottle of water. I was devested how my morning was going. I couldn’t let that affect me; I mean I was a little disappointed that I woke up old because not so long ago I had a dream about waking up 100 years from now. I always wanted to experience something like this, so I didn’t let that effect my day so I put some nice old clothes that my grandma gave me before she passed away. I happily turned on my car which was a 2056 Chrysler. I didn’t know I had this in my driveway, but it was. This car was very expensive, but beside the point. I headed to a nearby grocery store. Not to complain it took one hour to get there. While I was on my way to the grocery store, I thought to myself do I really want to be this old lady and not try to see what is wrong with me because I am positive that nobody wakes but the next day being 100 years older. Perhaps in movie’s but this was real life. I started overthinking my devesting situation. I had pulled up to the grocery store, but I had anxiety to even get off my car. Everyone was already looking at me since I had the newest car because who doesn’t wake up one day into the future having the newest car. I then, didn’t get off my car so instead I drove to the hospital. It didn’t take very long. I felt my hands shaking, I felt my car going on the other lane, and I felt like my legs were going to come off. I was panicking. I got to the hospital still panicking and feeling very nervous. The second I walked up to the lady I heard a little kid in the background, “Mommy why does that lady have so many wrinkles” her son says. “Son you will understand when you are older” she explains. I then, continued telling the lady what was going on and of course they asked me for all my information. The lady gladly asked me for my birthday. I replied, “Oct.1, 2003”. The lady looked very shocked after I said my birthday. She yelled “Michelle” with fear in her voice. Her coworker responded, “what's wrong Nikki”? Nikki looked at me and started screaming her lungs out. I then, freaked out and yelled with her. Many people that were at the hospital waiting, were looking very nervously but they calmed Nikki and me. I then, asked her if she can get a doctor as soon as possible. Her voice sounded like some bad person was in the room, she replied,” Yes I will.” I was shocked but still managed to sit down at the waiting room. Not even a minute passed, and they called my name. Doctor says “Jessica”. I got up as fast as I can. I replied, “Yes Doctor?” He asked me to go into a room asking me many questions like I was going crazy. After, answering all his questions this other doctor walks in. “Hello, my name is Dr. John” he says. I replied, “Hi, my name is Jessica” I said. He gladly made me comfortable by asking me all my hobby’s and asking if I need any water. He said “I overheard your situation and I have already dialed with a patient just like you” he said. I nervously asked him what the heck was wrong with me. He replied, “Some young people just overthink and stress them self’s out with too much that causes them to dream about weird things. I am sorry but you are in a bad dream and you just have to wait till the morning. I was so confused, how was I driving and doing all these things in a dream. I ran as fast as I could to my car and turned it on a drove straight to my house which was my parents' home because I was still 16 and not as old as I thought. I got home and poured water on my face and went to bed. Hoping I will wake up normal again. In the morning, I heard screaming. I heard the floor tumbling. I got up as fast as I could and went straight to the restroom and right when I walked in, I looked at myself and everything was back to normal.
